Illiteracy

Knowledge vs School learning.

There is always a difference between these two. When you acquire something from experience, or something for the outer world it's know as knowledge. When you acquire something only from your school books, I wouldn't call you a knowledgeable person, but rather just a book worm. Being a nerd is pride, when you know about everything and not just what's in your school book. That's also known as knowledge, but limited knowledge, which will help you only score good grades in your exams. Knowing that Mitochondria is the power house of the cell is not that very important than knowing that you haven't switched off your oven and your chicken is burnt inside. Just kidding.  Knowing that whether Mitochondria is the power house of the cell or not is useless when you don't even know what a cell means. Don't just swallow knowledge, try understanding it, or else you and an illiterate person can be judged the same.
School education is necessary as it helps you think in many different ways possible. There's not necessity for me to find the sides of a triangle. It's not going to be helpful in anyway in my life, but what it does is just activate all the parts of your brain and help it function effectively. So, apply your knowledge, instead of just letting it stay as some information in your brain.
