Past. Do you know the meaning of that? You do? What is it then?
'Gone by in time, and no longer existing'. Well, that's what wikipedia says. But for us it's not just something that is gone by time, it's a series of either good or bad memories that we all want to remember or forget. Our past makes us who we are now. If you were innocent and not any more, it's because of something that happened in your past. And since we change in course of time, we blame the past. How? I'll tell you. Supposing you cared a lot for someone in the past and one final day they just left never caring about you, gone by surprise you decide not to care for anybody any more. And again, you fall in the same pit and now you're totally done with caring about everybody around you. Is that even a solution? The problem here wasn't you caring, it was you caring for that particular person who wasn't trustworthy. This is what people forget, they forget the actual reason and take up the reason that is right in front of their eyes, because that is just easier to accept. You don't have to change your basic characters in you. People come and go. Sometimes we've to change in order to fit in the crowd, but that could just be temporary, sometimes you've to be fake in a society like this, or in other words I'll say, by being sweet to any and everybody you see. Things happen for a reason, they don't happen so that you change completely and lose out on yourself. You only think your happy and carefree after the change, but there is something known as inner self. For how long can you go on cheating that? One day you'll get fed up of what you've changed to because your basic character still lies within you. So stop getting into wrong conclusions. Stop blaming others for what has happened, and instead think of the mistake that you did. You always have a choice in life. You can choose to do it, or not to do it. Don't regret any of your choices later, they will always teach you lesson. When you realize you're the reason behind what has happened, it will be easy to take decisions and that way you won't jump into horrible conclusions.
